Project Details
The new Fitness Center will be an addition to an existing athletic and recreational facility on the Seattle University campus. It will provide much needed student-use areas for fitness equipment, exercise studios, and locker rooms. The project helps activate 14th Avenue with more pedestrian movement to the south end of the block, and provides significantly more window area, allowing exercisers to view street activity as well as making activity within visible from the street.
This project is being designed to LEED Gold with significant sustainable features including optimized energy/water savings, improved indoor air quality, and recycled-content interior building materials.
