Project Details
Art and architecture are inseparable in this urban residence located in Denver’s historic “LoDo” neighborhood. Designed to fit into the historic urban fabric, the building’s aesthetic is nonetheless decidedly modernist. The program is organized by levels: first floor as public gallery (museum); second floor as private living (nest); and the third floor as the spiritual space (sanctuary). The building, which responds to the scale and neighborhood palette of materials without being literal, is a contemporary urban residence that blends both home and museum into a contextually sensitive design.
