Project Details

This family home is placed strategically within a tightly bounded space, with vineyards to the North, orchards to the South, a lake to the West and steep hillside to East. Four wings progressively terrace up the hillside, creating an intimate scale for living, taking advantage of the views over the lake, and creating shaded outdoor living areas in the spaces between the wings. Deep overhangs and green roofs offer relief from the extremes of weather in the summer and winter.
