Project Details
This project is a light-handed renovation and an addition to a Wallace Neff house in Los Angeles, overlooking the Griffith Observatory. The design aims to draw attention to the original mid-century house while screening the new addition from the street, creating a sense of privacy for the owners. Sustainability features include rainwater collection, a greywater system, solar photovoltaic panels, solar hot water panels, native and drought tolerant landscaping, and natural ventilation.
