Project Details

The Rainier Club was exploring ways to update and expand their health club facilities to meet increased demand. An expansion was planned to coincide with the building of a high-rise office tower on the adjacent property. We designed a 6,000 square-foot facility on two levels, with most of the program area located below grade in order to respect the Rainier Club’s historic south façade. On top of the new health club, a terraced roof deck would connect to the Rainier Club’s second floor Cascade Room, providing a unique downtown event space.
