Project Details

Located in Shek-O, an historic fishing village in the southeast corner of Hong Kong Island, this house takes full advantage of its prominent rural site. Overlooking the South China Sea, the design includes broad expanses of glass opening to views in every direction; seamless transitions from inside to outside to merge the house into its landscape; and broad overhangs to provide protection from the tropical sun. One of only a handful of single-family lots in all of Hong Kong, the project is truly unique.
