Project Details

Located on a central boulevard of downtown Kirkland, this adaptive re-use project will serve as a home for restaurants, specialty food stores and other small businesses.

The design opens the two-floor building up to natural light and views of Lake Washington, and connects activity between Lake Street and the waterfront. The building’s underlying structure will be exposed and a system of operable windows and walls inserted, creating an arcade while keeping the space flexible for potential future uses.
